About Africa Our Home

At Africa Our Home (AOH), we believe in the transformative power of cultural exchange and meaningful engagement. Our mission is to connect passionate individuals with local communities in Ghana, Togo, and Benin, fostering sustainable development while offering participants an immersive and impactful experience.

Our Approach

Through AOH Global Programs, participants contribute to critical areas such as education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Whether through customized group experiences (2 weeks to 1 month) or individual internships (2 weeks to 6 months), we ensure that every participant’s skills and interests align with real community needs.

AOH

Impact on Local Communities

We don’t just facilitate experiences—we actively support the communities we serve. One example is our donation of an HP Laser Printer to the Keta Health Directorate, enhancing administrative efficiency and patient care in the region. These tangible contributions, combined with the work of our participants, create lasting change and strengthen local institutions.

AOH

Participant Experience

Beyond professional placements, AOH offers expertly guided cultural and historical tours, allowing participants to explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, vibrant cultural villages, and stunning landscapes. This holistic approach ensures that participants gain deep cultural insights, develop new skills, and build lifelong connections while making a real difference.
Join us in empowering communities, fostering global connections, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact.
