Africa Our Home (AOH) is a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to education, digital skills, and global learning opportunities. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through knowledge, technology, and meaningful international collaboration.
Through our programs, we connect students, educators, and organizations across Africa and the world to support learning, community development, and cultural exchange.
Dominique ADABI is the founder of Africa Our Home (AOH), a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 81-1775244) dedicated to expanding access to education, digital literacy, and meaningful global learning opportunities across Africa. Originally from Togo, Dominique is an educator and digital literacy advocate who has spent years working to bridge the digital divide for learners and communities across West Africa.
Through Africa Our Home, Dominique has helped build partnerships with local institutions, health facilities, schools, and community organizations in countries including Ghana, Togo, and Benin. These collaborations support internship placements, community development initiatives, educational exchanges, and programs that empower students and young professionals with practical skills and global perspectives.
Dominique is also the creator of MonTogo.net, the flagship digital education initiative of Africa Our Home. The platform provides hundreds of free tutorials designed to help beginners learn essential computer and internet skills, making digital literacy accessible to learners who often have limited access to formal technology training.
Passionate about the role technology can play in Africa’s development, Dominique works to promote practical digital skills, responsible use of emerging technologies, and open access to educational resources. His work focuses particularly on supporting students, educators, and professionals in developing regions who seek to participate more fully in the global digital economy.
Through Africa Our Home, Dominique continues to expand programs that connect international volunteers, universities, and local partners with communities across West Africa, creating opportunities for cross-cultural learning, education, and sustainable development.
Our flagship program, MonTogo.net, was nominated for the 2025 UNESCO International Literacy Prizes in recognition of its contribution to expanding access to digital literacy education.
Africa Our Home operates programs and partnerships in West Africa, particularly in Ghana, Togo, and Benin. We collaborate with schools, community organizations, and international partners to deliver educational initiatives that strengthen skills and opportunities.
